(RepublicanInformer.com)- President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign announced over the weekend that they have built the biggest grassroots campaign in presidential election history, with some 2.2 million volunteers working to win in November. The grassroots Republican campaign stands in stark contrast to the Democrat campaign which has focused almost entirely on online and TV ads.
The Trump campaign Political Director Chris Carr posted the breaking news on Saturday, saying the Trump grassroots movement easily surpassed the 2012 Barack Obama campaign.
“The @realDonaldTrump campaign is officially the largest grassroots movement in presidential history surpassing the @BarackObama campaign,” he confirmed.

“Trump Victory has 2,275,878 volunteers and counting thanks to the BOLDNESS of this President!” he added.
Back in 2012, when President Barack Obama was working to be re-elected during a campaign against Republican Senator Mitt Romney, he claimed to have 2.2 million volunteers and almost 1.8 million voters registered.

Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of the president and a senior adviser to the Trump campaign, said recently that President Trump is using a motivated grassroots campaign to win swing states like Michigan.
“We are feeling very good in Michigan, but we want to work for every single vote,” she said. “We take nothing for granted.
Unlike the Democrats who have kept their candidate hidden in a basement for months. A new report showed how Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden spent one-third of September off the campaign trail entirely.
