4th Of July Now Shows Americans Fell Less Free After Pandemic

(RepublicanInformer.com)- Did you have a good July 4th weekend? We hope so. But we also know that a lot of Americans didn’t.

According to a poll from the Convention of States Action and the Trafalgar Group, a massive 57% of Americans on this July 4 felt like they had less personal freedom than they did before the COVID-19 pandemic.

But…but…the White House saved us 16 cents on hot dogs!

President of the Convention of States Action Mark Meckler spoke to Just the Press about the results of the poll, describing how Americans understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has been used as a pretext to remove their rights. He added that he is hopeful that people are seeing this happen, and that the fact people understand what’s going on “bodes well for the future of the country.”

But if it’s already happening…isn’t that bad enough?

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said just last week that the Biden administration was open to reimposing lockdowns if states asked for it.

The new poll also asked Americans about how they feel about Washington politicians. Some 62.4% of respondents said that they believe the will of the American people is “no longer a consideration” to the nation’s politicians when making legislative or policy decisions.

The all-important independent voters bloc saw 59% believe that politicians don’t consider the will of the people, and only 17% said that they believe the will of the people is “somewhat” of a consideration.

With the 2022 midterms around the corner, this does not bode well for Democrats who control Congress and the White House…
