(RepublicanInformer.com)- Last week, Speaker Nancy Pelosi named her eight members to the partisan select committee investigating the three-hour melee at the Capitol on January 6. And to confirm that this select committee will be nothing more than a deeply partisan witch hunt, Pelosi named infamous RussiaGate peddler and mainstay of cable news Adam Schiff.
Schiff, no doubt, is delighted to have yet another investigation that will provide him with oodles of air time on cable and network news. After all, thanks to his flogging the phony RussiaGate hoax, Adam was able to rack up 419 interviews that clocked in at over 49 cumulative hours of air time between January 2017 and July 2019.
The so-called “Insurrection” of January 6 is Adam’s comeback to TV, and he is going to milk it for all its worth.
In fact, Schiff didn’t let the grass grow under his feet. The day after Pelosi named him to the Witch Hunt Committee, Schiff was on MSNBC’s “Deadline” with host Nicolle Wallace slandering Republicans and accusing them of making the Capitol Police officers feel unsafe.
Wallace, who never met a Democrat talking point she wouldn’t repeat, set Schiff up the perfect pitch to peddle his slander, claiming the Capitol Police “have become the face of really feeling betrayed” by Republican House members. Why? Well, because twenty-one Republicans voted against giving the USCP medals for inviting the protesters into the building protecting Congress from the so-called insurrectionists.
Schiff, of course, claimed that the “heart of this select committee investigation” is how could this happen in America that Republicans don’t support the Capitol Police after some of them were called racial epithets.
Wait till Adam finds out what happened to police during the Black Lives Matter riots. It’ll make his hair curl.
Schiff also repeated the flat-out lie that “domestic terrorism” is the “predominant threat” to the country.
Schiff wants to call these highly politicized Capitol Police officers before the committee because “they do feel” that they were “victimized” on January 6, and because they also feel like they were “let down” by Adam’s Republican colleagues.
Perhaps Adam should ask them how they feel about Nancy Pelosi rejecting the USCP request for additional security for January 6. That seems like a far bigger reason to feel “let down” than 21 Republicans not voting to give them medals.
Really, the true purpose of this investigation, as far as Adam Schiff is concerned, isn’t to give the Capitol Police a chance to speak out. It’s to give Adam another reason to get his face all over TV.
