(RepublicanInformer.com)- President Joe Biden used a CNN townhall on Wednesday to wrongly claim that Fox News anchors had been encouraging people not to take the COVID-19 vaccine. During the townhall the president repeatedly forgot what he was saying, paused for uncomfortably long periods, and made confusing and conflicting statements – and attempted to poke fun at Fox News over something the network’s anchors simply never did.
Referencing Fox News, Biden said, “if you notice, as they say in the southern part of my state, they’ve had an altar call, some of those guys.”
Biden went on to say that anchors on Fox are “all of a sudden” telling people to go out and get the vaccine.
He added that he “shouldn’t make fun” of the anchors and that it’s good news they are encouraging people to take the vaccine, but he provided no evidence whatsoever that his claims were even true.
Biden: "One of those other networks, they're not a big fan of mine…but if you notice, as they say in the southern part of my state, they've had an alter call, some of those guys. All of the sudden, they're out there saying, 'let's get vaccinated, get vaccinated'…that's good" pic.twitter.com/5ntUkEkRKV

CNN didn’t even fact-check him. Funny how that works, right?
Biden made the comments when he was asked what the White House is doing to combat what Don Lemon called “medical misinformation.”
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said during a press briefing last week that the White House has been in touch with “every network and many, many media outlets” about coverage of COVID-19 to ensure that they are sharing the correct information.
Well, that doesn’t sound at all like fascism…
If President Biden thinks that networks have been condemning the vaccine, then he needs to provide evidence. And if he thinks that anchors have been telling people not to take it, then again, he needs to provide evidence.
Anyone who watches Fox News will already know that the network’s anchors have only ever criticized plans to mandate the taking of the vaccine, or rumored plans to implement vaccine passports that will usher in a new form of discrimination against unvaccinated people.
