(RepublicanInformer.com)- The moderator for the next presidential debate between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden was recently busted for having tipped off Hillary Clinton on interview questions back in 2016.
NBC News anchor Kristen Welker has deep ties with the Democratic Party which were also exposed recently. The New York Post reports how she comes from a Democratic family, and that her mother, Julie Welker and father, Harvey Welker, donated almost $20,000 to Barack Obama and several tens of thousands to other Democratic candidates.
“There was also $3,300 for Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign and $2,100 for Hillary Clinton’s doomed 2016 presidential effort against Trump,” The Post reported. “Another $7,300 was contributed to the Democratic National Committee between 2004 and 2020.”
It suggests that Welker is not likely to be the kind of balanced and impartial moderator a presidential debate like this typically demands.
Jon Levine, the author of the New York Post piece, also unearthed old footage from 2016 when she was “busted on live television tipping off Hillary Clinton’s Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri about at least one question she planned to ask her during a post-debate interview in Michigan.”

Levine also highlighted photographs of Welker published on her Facebook page. One showed her celebrating Christmas with the Obamas in 2012 at the White House.

But she’s an impartial moderator, right?
Levine reported how Welker’s party registration is no longer listed, in 2012 she was registered as a Democrat in Washington, DC, and in 2004 she was registered as a Democrat in Rhode Island.
