Charles Darwin Exhibits Deemed “OFFENSIVE” By BLM As British Museum Bows To Pressure

( The British Natural History Museum, one of the most famous museums in the world, is set to bow to pressure from the Black Lives Matter movement and will review its “offensive” collections. Among the exhibitions deemed “problematic” by the far-left Marxist organization is a number of exotic birds that were collected by Charles Darwin.

Yep. A collection of exotic birds that were collected by the man who theorized evolution is racist. Or something.

The review, confirmed by the Natural History Museum, will look at items, rooms, and exhibits that the executive board believe are offensive. Those items will then either be removed from the museum completely, or renamed to demonstrate how “science, racism, and colonial power were inherently intertwined.”

The Telegraph, a daily British newspaper, revealed that the museum would be making changes “in light of Black Lives Matter and the recent anti-racist demonstrations around the world.”

It will include specimens collected from the Galapagos Islands by Charles Darwin. These items are displayed proudly (until now) by the museum as they are items that helped Darwin perfect his Theory of Evolution. A curator from the Natural History Museum said, however, that many of the items in the collection are just an example of the “colonialist scientific expeditions” of British history.

History is problematic, now.

The Telegraph obtained documents outlining the museum’s plans, and reported how Michael Dixon, the director, told staff that they need to do more.

“The Black Lives Matter movement has demonstrated that we need to do more and act faster, so as a first step we have commenced an institution-wide review on naming and recognition,” he reportedly told staff.

“We want to learn and educate ourselves, recognising that greater understanding and awareness on diversity and inclusion are essential,” he added.

Is anybody going to the Natural History Museum to learn about how evil people were in the past, or are they going to learn about…oh, I don’t know, evolution and facts?

The tentacles of the BLM movement are evident when reading the Telegraph report, given that a curator of the museum reportedly said that their collections must be “decolonized” because “museums were put in place to legitimise a racist ideology.”

You heard it here first, folks. Museums are only there to legitimize racism. Screw learning!
