A recent report said that Don Lemon had been publicly dating a subordinate CNN colleague almost 20 years his junior.
According to Variety, Lemon allegedly branded a CNN producer “fat” in front of her face. The allegation from 2008 alleges that he sent anonymous text threats to another employee.
Lemon publicly dated a new college-graduated coworker despite their massive age difference and power imbalance. Lemon was 41 when he began dating the worker, who was 22 at the time, according to the report.

According to the report, although Lemon didn’t come out as homosexual at the time, he wasn’t trying to hide the fact. They had known one another for a long time, and he drove the employee to work every day. The website noted that CNN considered the situation to be improper.

Lemon has been mandated by CNN to undergo rigorous behavioral training.
According to Outkick, It is not clear if Lemon’s verbal attacks on co-presenter Kaitlan Collins will be addressed in the training course he is taking. A hostile working environment is created when a coworker is mistreated, which makes it more difficult for people to function at their highest level.
Last December, Lemon reprimanded Kaitlan Collins for rambling too much during a segment that they both participated in together. Lemon didn’t need to correct Collins in any way. Perhaps it might be his responsibility to choose the frequency with which women can participate in a program that he co-hosts.
The report shows that before being demoted last Autumn, Don Lemon was the anchor of the cable news program in primetime with the worst ratings among CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News.
