(RepublicanInformer.com)- Unpopular public health official Dr. Anthony Fauci reportedly purposely avoided journalists trying to capture photographs of him attending Jonathan Karl’s book launch party while not wearing a mask.
Fauci attended the event at Café Milano in Washington, D.C., last week to celebrate the publishing of “Betrayal: The Final Act of the Trump Shows” – a clear smear of former President Donald Trump which has been used by multiple left-wing news outlets in recent weeks to attack the former president.
Washington Post columnist Sally Quinn claimed in Politico Playbook that photographers repeatedly tried to capture photographs of Fauci attending the event without wearing a mask.
“I said, ‘You seem pretty ambivalent about your mask’ because no one else was wearing one,” Quinn said to Playbook. “He said, ‘I just decided that if anyone came up that I didn’t know, I would put my mask on.’”
Quinn also said that there were members of the “paparazzi” surrounding Fauci trying to capture him maskless – although she also insisted that Fauci was “being safe” and that “everyone knew he was vaccinated.”
Why does that matter? The vaccine doesn’t stop people from catching or spreading the virus…and Fauci himself admits that.
Fauci also reportedly helped care for a guest who collapsed at the party on Tuesday.
And, in case you were wondering, he reportedly wore a mask while he was trying to help the ill guest.
It sounds like an eventful night.
