Elon Musk Shuts Down Hecklers: “I’m Rich…”

(Republicaninformer.com)- On Sunday, comedian Dave Chappelle brought Twitter owner Elon Musk on stage during his show in San Francisco and some in the audience responded by booing.

Videos posted on social media show Chappelle introducing Musk by describing him as the “richest man in the world,” prompting some in the audience to boo. In response, Musk shouted Chappelle’s famous line, “I’m rich, b*tch,” prompting the boos to continue.

Musk told Chappelle that he probably wasn’t expecting boos, prompting the comedian to joke that the audience must include some of the people Musk fired from Twitter.

Later in his act, Chappelle joked that the people who were booing Musk “have terrible seats in the stadium.”

At the end of his set, Chappelle told the audience that they must have better things to do than boo Elon Musk.

Musk pointed out in a now-deleted tweet that his reception was “90% cheers & 10% boos,” adding that this is still a lot of boos, “which is a first for me in real life” but “frequent on Twitter.” Musk joked, “It’s almost as if I’ve offended SF’s unhinged leftists.”

On Monday, NBC News ran a story in which they interviewed members of the audience to find out why they booed Musk.

Two people told NBC News that they booed to express their displeasure with Musk firing so many Twitter employees. Another person said he booed because Musk encouraged people to vote Republican in the 2022 Midterms.

One of the people NBC News interviewed claimed he booed because Elon Musk’s free speech agenda is “not good for democracy.”

During his show on Tuesday, Daily Wire host Matt Walsh played video footage of the booing incident and suggested that there is no better honor than getting booed “by a crowd of low-IQ San Franciscans:”
