(RepublicanInformer.com)- If you’re concerned about Critical Race Theory being taught in America’s schools, then you might just be a terrorist.
At least, that’s what the Justice Department is saying.
On Monday, the DOJ announced that it had begun working with the FBI and local law enforcement to tackle what they called a “disturbing trend” of teachers being threatened or harassed. The order came directly from far-left Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Little in the way of evidence was provided to show that teachers were being threatened, and it appeared pretty clear that he was referencing the recent increase in the number of concerned parents turning up to board meetings with teachers to express their concern about teaching Critical Race Theory in schools.
He said that the “disturbing trend” had occurred over the last few months, and it is over these last few months that parents have become increasingly vocal about teachers indoctrinating their children.
It also isn’t likely a coincidence that only a week before the announcement, the National School Boards Association wrote to President Joe Biden asking for help protecting teachers from angry parents.
Did they ever stop to wonder why the parents might be angry?
“Coordination and partnership with local law enforcement is critical to implementing these measures for the benefit of our nation’s nearly 14,000 public school districts,” Attorney General Garland said. “To this end, I am directing the Federal Bureau of Investigation, working with each United States Attorney, to convene meetings with federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial leaders in each federal judicial district within 30 days of the issuance of this memorandum.”
Has any other administration mobilized the FBI against parents who are concerned about teachers teaching their children extremist propaganda in the classroom?
