Greta Thunberg Arrested After Ignoring Warning

The United States has been engulfed in a “cold” cultural and spiritual war for the last several years. This “battle has not been limited to only the political arena. In truth, most aspects of ordinary life in the union have been affected by the conflict, with corporate America, the music industry, sports,  and the field of public education often being central areas in which these cultural skirmishes take place. In June of this year InBev, the parent company of Anheuser-Busch suffered millions of dollars in stock losses after promoting LGBTQ rhetoric on bud-light beer. Another company, the retailer Target also faced sales declines after displaying and selling several products of clothing which carried gay pride and transgender messaging on garments for small children. While identity politics remains a huge centerpiece of Democrat messaging, another issue in which the progressive party continues to seize upon is that of “climate change”. Indeed, the party continuously seizes upon natural disasters and changing weather patterns to bolster their messaging. In the Bayou state, the party may have another natural issue to exploit.

In a potentially life-threatening and geographical-altering situation, saltwater continues to push northward into historically freshwater regions of the Mississippi river in southern Louisiana. The famous American river which historically had been used as a divider between the eastern and western regions of the nation in its early days is a vital source of drinking water for the state’s inhabitants. As the problem continues to worsen, entire communities have been places at risk, and the state’s governor has requested Federal aid. Climate Change and a lack of rainfall exacerbated this issue.

Greta Thunberg, the well-known climate activist from Sweden, was recently arrested at a Mayfair hotel in London for blocking the entrance in protest of a fossil fuels conference occurring in the immediate vicinity. She had been previously given a warning before refusing to remove herself early in the morning of the event.
