(RepublicanInformer.com)- 35 Republicans insulted the memories of every person killed or injured in the tragic September 11, 2001 attacks in New York this week by voting to establish a 9/11-style commission to investigate the January 6 Capitol Hill riot.
The decision to vote with Democrats on this incredible legislation – which seeks the “truth” behind the Washington, D.C. riots on January 6 this year – gives left-wing politicians and anti-Trump ideologues an opportunity to continue their false accusations and smears about the former president inciting a violent “insurrection.”
A vote to establish the new commission passed the measure with 252 votes to 175.

The bill which has passed will create a new commission made up of ten people. It will consist of five Republicans and five Democrats taken from the House and Senate. Republicans had negotiated with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to increase the number of Republicans on the panel, but even then, it won’t guarantee fairness.
What if one of those Republicans is just as anti-Trump as the Democrats? This commission could easily become the next effort to smear former President Trump after the impeachment trials failed to prove Trump incited an insurrection and violence on January 6.
