(RepublicanInformer.com)- President Joe Biden is pretty well known for making things up by now, but every time a new lie comes out of his mouth it’s still amazing that the President of the United States would just make something up and lie about it so blatantly.
On Wednesday, the president wrongly claimed that he had previously met with Golda Meir, the former Israeli Prime Minister, and discussed the possibility of becoming a liaison between the Egyptians and her administration during the 1967 Six Day War.
First off, the fact that Biden was politically active in 1967 and claiming to be a possible liaison for the Israeli government should probably tell us that he’s too old for the job. But secondly, the claim was so blatantly untrue because Meir was not the Prime Minister of Israel at the time, and Biden was actually in law school.
So he lied, and didn’t even bother to check the dates.
During the White House Hanukkah party, Biden said that he was recently telling younger members of his staff about how he has been to Israel many times, and that he has known “every prime minister well since Golda Meir, including Golda Meir.”
And then he launched into his lie.
He said:
“And during the Six-Day War, I had an opportunity to, she invited me to come over…I was going to be the liaison between she and the Egyptians about the Suez,” he claimed.
That did not happen.
What did happen is that Biden met with 1973 when she became the Prime Minister, and he was working as a United States Senator. The meeting that took place occurred on the night before the Yom Kippur war began. So perhaps he’s confusing the two meetings.
Perhaps not, though, as Israelis have said that Biden was not seen as a liaison or a possible liaison.
So…it’s a lie.
Once again, President Biden lied – and has the gall to call Trump a liar.
