(RepublicanInformer.com)- In 2010 when Richard Holbrooke served as President Obama’s special representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan, he wrote in his diary of a startling exchange with then-Vice President Joe Biden regarding a possible withdrawal from Afghanistan.
According to Holbrooke’s account, Biden was asked about whether the US had an obligation to maintain its presence in Afghanistan in order to protect vulnerable civilians, and his response was typical Biden.
Biden scornfully said “F**k that. We don’t have to worry about that.” Citing the disastrous way we abandoned South Vietnam, Biden added, “Nixon and Kissinger got away with it.”
The fact is, the image of Joe Biden created by the Democrats and the media as the compassionate, affable grandfather figure was never true. Biden has always been a vicious, vindictive, callous person. One only needs to watch his treatment of Justice Clarence Thomas during Thomas’ confirmation hearing to know that.
And while Biden’s behavior may have changed over the years due to his declining cognitive abilities, he certainly hasn’t changed for the better.
On Wednesday, President Biden sat down with George Stephanopoulos for a one-on-one interview about the disastrous events in Afghanistan.
At one point, Stephanopoulos asked the President about the horrific footage from Monday of Afghans clinging to planes taking off from the airport in Kabul and dropping hundreds of feet to their deaths.
Biden’s response, like his comments in 2010, are pure Joe Biden.
Instead of expressing any kind of horror or compassion over those who dropped to their deaths or died stuck in the landing gear of planes, the impatient Biden dismissed it as being old news, saying “That was four days ago, five days ago.”
It was, in reality, only two days before.

Astonishing how easily Biden lies, isn’t it?
In July, Biden, in no uncertain terms, declared that the Taliban was no match for the Afghan forces. He completely dismissed the notion of another Saigon-like evacuation of the US Embassy.
If what unfolded this past week was factored in to his plan to withdraw, why did he confidently dismiss the very idea of such chaos happening back in July?
Well, the answer is simple. Biden is, as he always was, a congenital liar.
