(RepublicanInformer.com)- Another day, another insane opinion piece from far-left antagonist Juan Williams.
Writing in The Hill, Williams claimed that “Christmas came early” for the Democrats last week, with Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene attacking fellow Republican congresswoman Nancy Mace and describing her as “trash.”
A second gift, he claimed, was the conservative majority expecting the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade – a 50-year-old legal precedent that allow abortion procedures to go ahead in the United States before a fetus is fully viable. Why is that a gift?
Well, Williams thinks it’s going to hand the Democrats the suburban women vote in 2022.
He’s delusional, isn’t he?
“That stink-bomb came from six Republican nominees to the court, including three nominees of former President Trump. During oral arguments, they signaled a readiness to overturn a woman’s right to abortion,” he said.
His commentary indicated that he doesn’t really understand what Roe v. Wade means for the American people, as overturning Roe v. Wade would not strip women of access to abortions. Instead, it would give more power to the states to decide what laws are appropriate.
Williams said that some 59% of Americ and favor the “status quo” of Roe v. Wade, which fuelled his argument that the Democrats may enjoy some substantial victories in next year’s elections – but what he doesn’t seem to realize is that there are things more important than abortion to many other American voters.
Those things include inflation and the border crisis – two things that have only gotten worse this year, and are expected to worsen even more through the next year.
In one more year, we’ll see just how wrong Williams is on this one…
