(RepublicanInformer.com)- Of all the judges overseeing the cases of the January 6 political prisoners, none is more partisan than Chief US District Judge Beryl A. Howell. Howell has consistently exposed her bias against the defendants who appear before her – launching into hyper-partisan rantings from the bench. Before a single defendant has been given his day in court, Judge Howell does not hesitate to declare their actions “brazenly illegal.”
And this past week, Judge Howell once again revealed her bias when she demanded to know why defendants are only being asked to pay up to $1.5 million in restitution while Americans are stuck paying hundreds of millions more in costs.
Well, that might be because the Government has determined the total cost in damages done to the Capitol on January 6 was $1.5 million.
Howell was also very angry that the DOJ reached a plea agreement with a man who admitted to misdemeanor picketing at the US Capitol. Howell thought that was too lenient. But what really bothered her was the fact that the DOJ was only seeking $2,000 in restitution for each felony case and $500 for each misdemeanor case.
What seems to trouble Howell isn’t that restitution is capped at what the actual cost of damage was. What troubles Howell is that, using the pretense of a so-called “insurrection,” Congress decided to spend $2.1 billion on Capitol security.
Howell complained that “we have Congress acting, appropriating all this money due directly to the events of January 6” which leads her to believe the $1.5 million in damages is too low.
No, you dummy. It’s the other way around. Despite the fact that the total damages done by the three-hour riot only amounted to $1.5 million, Congress decided to exploit that three-hour riot to spend two billion dollars in order to maintain the ridiculous claim that January 6 was an “insurrection” and the “worst thing to happen since the Civil War.”
Howell’s true gripe is with the irresponsible Congress wasting taxpayer dollars on a mirage – all in hopes that they can so tarnish Republicans that, despite Democrat fecklessness, they can still win the 2022 Midterms.
But Howell is just as much of a hyper-partisan as Nancy Pelosi. Rather than see the blazingly obvious, she gets angry that the Truth ($1.5 million in damages) does not conform to Nancy’s Lies.
