When a reporter asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about President Biden’s reservations about Senator Menendez attending a confidential briefing on Ukraine, she stumbled over her words.
In a superseding indictment filed last month, Democratic Senator Bob Menendez was accused of serving as a foreign agent.

On Wednesday, CNN reporter Manu Raju questioned Menendez’s attendance at a secret briefing in light of allegations that he had helped a foreign government.
Menendez blasted Manu Raju and said he was just creating headlines. He said a charge is merely a charge, not a fact.
Considering the allegations against him, a reporter wanted to know if the White House was worried about Senator Menendez attending a secret briefing.
