(RepublicanInformer.com)- Rep. Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina, the youngest representative in Congress, caused a stir last week when he used a speech on the House floor to call controversial President Joe Biden an “inept, geriatric despot.”
Harsh but…fair.
The speech came after the Pentagon deployed roughly 3,000 American troops to Eastern Europe where they will provide support to Ukrainian forces holding back a potential invasion of Russian troops at the border of Ukraine.
The 26-year-old legislator said that the sons and daughters of America “are not foot soldiers” for the Democratic Party’s “inept, geriatric despot.”
“They are not expendable pawns to be dispatched at the whims of an idiot, tossed carelessly around the world for Godforsaken caves and bloody sandboxes,” he continued.
Cawthorn chose to be purposely offensive and provocative in his speech, adding that the only salute that Joe Biden deserves from members of the military “involves one finger.”
He also said that Biden was working in favor of the military-industrial complex, and said that America’s greatness comes from “resistance to interference.”
While the Biden White House has deployed thousands of troops to Eastern Europe to defend Ukraine against Russian invasion, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki played down the threat recently. Psaki insisted during a press conference that the term “imminent” will no longer be used as it is currently unclear whether President Vladimir Putin has chosen to invade yet.
