Melania Trump Refuses To Bow To Liberal-Backed Cancelations

( First Melania Trump ignored nasty attacks from far-left extremists and Democrat voters who called on her to fade into the background, stop fulfilling her duties as First Lady, and then later attacked her for removing her mask while reading stories to patients at a children’s hospital.

The first lady made her fourth trip to Washington’s Children’s National Hospital on Tuesday to meet young patients and ready stories, while the media went crazy about her attending during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Did the media forget that she’s already had the virus, and is therefore extremely unlikely to be spreading it?

The first lady arrived at the hospital wearing a mask, but when she sat down in front of a Christmas tree to read stories, she removed it. Mrs. Trump read “Oliver the Ornament Meets Marley & Joan and Abbey” by Todd Zimmerman.

After posting a photograph of her sitting in front of the tree holding the hand of a small child, smiling and reading stories, far-left Democrats couldn’t hold in their hatred of the first lady.

“So you’re reading to sick children during a pandemic without a mask?” one radical asked. “That is criminal.”

It is not criminal, nor is the user’s outrage based on science. The World Health Organization and scientists all over the world knew very early on that the COVID-19 virus typically does not spread as easily among young people, nor does it often affect them in serious and life-threatening ways.

Not to mention, once again, Melania Trump has already had COVID-19 and recovered from it, meaning she is protected by antibodies in her blood and is therefore extremely unlikely to be spreading the virus to anybody in the hospital.

The first lady said that she cherished her annual visit to the hospital where she meets inspiring healthcare professionals and young children. She also said that she also looks forward to spending more time in the hospital meeting brave children and families, suggesting that even if Biden does become the next president, Mrs. Trump will continue her charitable work.

After the visit, the White House issued a statement saying that the first lady followed all health guidance and practiced social distancing during the event.

“Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the event was limited in numbers of in-person participants and all guests were required to wear face masks and adhere to social distancing,” it said. “The visit followed the hospital’s mask protocols for public speakers, based on the District of Columbia health guidance, that wearing a mask is not required when a person is giving a speech for broadcast or an audience, provided no one is within six feet of the speaker.”

“Throughout the holiday program, the First Lady was more than twelve feet away from others in the four-story atrium. Today’s visit, broadcast to 325 inpatient hospital rooms, followed these guidelines,” it continued.

It’s amazing how the Democrats and the media pundits can invent a story out of nowhere, right?
