Mia Goth Sued By Film Extra For Alleged Bullying, Violence

An extra has accused Mia Goth, who played the lead in the X trilogy, of telling him he is a nobody so no one would believe his allegations of abuse against her.

James Hunter, who was an employee on the X trilogy’s third and last film, is suing Goth, director Ti West, and A24 for wrongful termination and abuse, with a minimum demand of $500,000 each. Claiming that Goth pursued him following unnecessary battery and insults, calling him a “big baby.”

During his account of the event, Hunter said that he was lying on his left side when he felt her boot clamp down on the side of his ear. He immediately informed the second assistant director, who in turn informed the rest of the team about his worries. He asserts that filming came to a sudden stop, and he was kicked again in the very next take.

Despite the “tremendous pain” the kick caused him, Hunter resolved to press on since he was promised many days of paid labor. A short time after the event, he asserts, Goth confronted him by pushing open the unlocked door of the portapotty.

A24 has denied the allegations in the lawsuit and is firmly defending Mia and the whole production crew from the accusations. According to Goth, she is unable to comment on the extra’s complaint that accuses her of kicking him on the Maxine set and names her, West, and A24 as defendants. Nonetheless, she expressed her deep appreciation for A24’s backing.

The January complaint was filed by Hunter, who said that during the take, Goth’s purposeful boot to his head caused him excruciating pain, neck stiffness, and a concussion.

He said that no one helped him on set and that Goth reportedly belittled him when he was in the restroom, among other instances of her mistreatment. The fact that he had to wear a robe and be coated in fake blood for the scenario, he claimed, made things much more unpleasant for him.

The adult film business in 1980s Los Angeles is the backdrop of Maxine, the third and last installment of the X trilogy. The film stars Lily Collins (Emily in Paris), Halsey (singer and Grammy nominee), Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown), and Moses Sumney (The Idol).
