(RepublicanInformer)- Republican former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee hit the news this week after a report from the Arkansas Times said that he and his wife Janet Huckabee have purchased a $1.725 million home in his home state, just west of Little Rock.
The house, according to the report, is more than 8,600 square feet in size, and also has a separate house on the estate that is 2,200 square feet in size. Huckabee and his family will be able to enjoy a pool, a pool house, and five acres of property on the edge of a lake.
Sounds idyllic!
The report also said that the Huckabees have listed a property in Santa Rosa, Florida, for sale. It also said that the couple already owned a $275,000 home near Reservoir Road in Little Rock.
The sale of the Huckabees’ house in Tampa Bay prompted a flurry of media reports.

Conservative commentator Debbie Aldrich responded to a story about the sale of the property saying that she doesn’t recall any such snide commentary from th press when the Clintons sold their gigantic compound or the Obamas moved into a huge new home after leaving office in 2017.
“I don’t remember any reporting giving such a snide commentary on the Clinton’s compound or Obama’s homes using terms like proletariat referencing those that stock his beach house!” she said.

Photos of Huckabee’s Florida home show a palatial beach house with huge windows looking out onto a beach. But it looks like the former Arkansas Governor is ready to return home after a politically turbulent few years.
