A California mother, Jessenia Diaz, 26, has broken her silence after a widely circulated video showed her being led away in handcuffs from Disneyland, accused of attempting to sneak her children into the park without paying. Diaz, a resident of Torrance in southwest Los Angeles County, has claimed that the public response to the incident is “full of lies,” and she has reportedly threatened to sue Disneyland.
The incident gained national attention after a video of Diaz surrounded by Disneyland security and Anaheim police went viral. The footage showed her two young daughters crying and clinging to their mother as Diaz was arrested. The mother shouted, “You’re f–king hurting me!” as police escorted her from the park.
Disneyland has claimed that Diaz had attempted to bring her children into the park without purchasing tickets and that she was uncooperative with security staff. According to reports from the Anaheim Police Department, Diaz is suspected of passing off her daughters as two-year-olds, who are eligible for free admission. Police also noted that she had allegedly tried this method before.
Diaz responded to the online attention by posting a brief video on her TikTok account, @Diaz.v8, claiming that social media is “full of lies and hate.” She has promised to share her side of the story but has yet to release a full account. In response to concerned comments, she assured followers that her daughters are safe.
The Anaheim Police Department has stated that Diaz was arrested for trespassing but was later released with a citation. Disneyland officials have also confirmed that Diaz’s actions violated park policies, leading to her arrest.
We await her side of the story…
