Las Vegas police and FBI officials are investigating what they describe as a “targeted attack” on a Tesla Collision Center that occurred around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday. The incident involved a suspect dressed entirely in black who unleashed violence using homemade incendiary devices and firearms against multiple Tesla vehicles.
Assistant Sheriff Dorie Koren provided details about the alarming series of events that unfolded at the facility, noting, “One caller said they heard gunshots and that there was a subject wearing black clothing and setting multiple vehicles on fire.”
The investigation revealed that the perpetrator employed multiple Molotov cocktails and firearms during the attack, causing significant damage to Tesla property. Authorities discovered five damaged Tesla vehicles at the scene, including two that were completely consumed by flames.
An un-ignited Molotov cocktail was also found in one of the damaged vehicles, providing investigators with valuable evidence. The suspect left behind the politically charged message “RESIST” spray-painted across the front doors of the collision center, strongly suggesting ideological motivations.
