Nancy Pelosi Humiliates Herself In Just 2 Minutes On Camera

(RepublicanInformer.com)- Either Nancy Pelosi is trying to beat President Joe Biden in a race to become the most disastrously incapable politician in America, or her latest interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos was an attempt to willfully mislead the public on the nature of a serious national crisis.

In just two minutes, Pelosi managed to get practically everything wrong about the ongoing surge of illegal border crossings wrong.

On Sunday morning, the Democratic House Speaker made wildly inaccurate statements about the huge influx of immigrants attempting to cross the southern border, including suggesting that President Joe Biden inherited a “broken system at the border” from President Donald Trump.

It comes as illegal crossings reach an almost two-decade high following the inauguration of President Joe Biden and his promise to give illegal aliens amnesty in the United States. In February, the number of attempted illegal crossings at the border rose by 28%.

That’s six times higher than the number that President Barack Obama considered a “crisis” during his administration. But apparently that’s all different now that Biden’s in office.

Pelosi argued that the border crisis was actually a “humanitarian challenge to all of us.”

“What the administration has inherited is a broken system at the border, and they are working to correct that in the children’s interest,” she said, referencing the record-breaking number of children being detained in border detention facilities.

The same facilities that the Democrats called “cages” and “concentration camps” during the Trump administration.

Pelosi also made a reference to “600, 700 more children,” but it is not immediately clear what she is talking about or where that number comes from. The actual number of children being detained on the border has easily reached the thousands, with a CBS report from March 6 revealing that there are roughly 337 children being process every single day through February and into March.

CBS actually put a number on it, too, claiming that over 7,000 children were being handled by the Office of Refugee Resettlement. That’s more than the 5,900 children in their custody in February 2019, when President Donald Trump declared an emergency on the border. Since that date, the president’s immigration policies brought that number dramatically down.

Pelosi said that the current efforts on the border are a “transition from what was wrong before to what is right,” but provided no explanation of what was being done right or how.

Will Nancy Pelosi ever tell the truth?
