NBC Blacklists Ad Slamming Communist China

(RepublicanInformer.com)- Republican Rep. Mike Waltz, who represents Florida’s 6th Congressional District, has reused to change a TV ad he produced that criticizes the Communist Chinese Party. The ad was due to be aired during NBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympic Games currently taking place in Beijing, but the network refused to air it.

The video, which you can see here, highlights the many human rights abuses committed by the Chinese Communist Party. It reveals how more than one million Uyghur Muslims and ethnic minorities are being forced into modern-day concentration camps and brands the Winter Olympics as the “Genocide Games.”

He also slams American companies that went ahead and sponsored the event, despite diplomatic boycotts from a large number of Western countries – including the United States.

Waltz named and shamed Coca Cola and Visa, accusing them of being “drunk on Chinese dollars” and doing business with communist dictators.

The video, however, will not be aired on TV during the games because Waltz refuses to bend to NBC’s demands that it go through “significant changes.” The network claimed that the advert goes against its long-standing advertising guidelines.

Waltz’s office, however, called them out on it, arguing that it doesn’t violate their guidelines at all.

“These corporations that want to preach social justice here at home—they want to boycott baseball in Georgia but then completely turn a blind eye when it comes to the millions of Muslims in concentration camps and slave labor,” Waltz told Fox on Monday.

Why, exactly, is NBC so scared of calling out a corrupt, authoritarian government that runs literal concentration camps used to torture ethnic minorities?
