Number Of Obese People Skyrockets In Just 3 Years

( America is facing an obesity crisis.

According to data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, over one-third of Americans in a number of states are “dangerously overweight.” The data, which was compiled last year, indicates that radical progressives’ view that weight doesn’t matter, that body positivity is a good thing, is likely impacting the health of Americans everywhere.

Given that we’re experiencing a global pandemic of a virus that harms overweight people more than healthy people, wouldn’t now be a good time for the Democrats and the left to admit that they are wrong on this?

The data, which was released on Wednesday, shows that the states facing the biggest problem are West Virginia, Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Ohio, Mississippi, Michigan, Louisiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Arkansas, and Alabama.

It’s almost double the nine states in 2018 that had obesity levels of 35% or higher.

America just getting fatter.

Colorado was the best state, according to the CDC, with 24.2% of the population being considered obese. In Mississippi, the rate was 39.7% – making it the fattest state in America.

The report, which is released annually, describes how obesity plays a factor in the mortality rate of COVID-19, meaning you’re unlikely to hear much about this from the federal government.

As it stands, the United States government under Joe Biden’s leadership has done absolutely nothing to promote healthy living and to discourage people from living with obesity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, Biden is more obsessed with forcing people to take a vaccine that they might be hesitant to take.

Wouldn’t it be wise for Joe Biden to appear on stage, cite these numbers, and encourage people to do more to lose weight and be healthy – and therefore protect themselves from this virus?
