NY AG Challenges Trump’s Executive Order

Far-left New York Attorney General Letitia James has instructed hospitals to continue providing sex-change procedures for minors, directly challenging President Donald Trump’s Executive Order.

She wants kids to be mutilated?

The order, titled “Protecting Children From Chemical And Surgical Mutilation,” threatens to withhold federal funding from hospitals that perform these controversial procedures on minors.

James emphasized the importance of adhering to New York State laws, which prohibit discrimination based on gender identity and other protected classes.

“Regardless of the availability of federal funding, we write to further remind you of your obligations to comply with New York State laws, including those that prohibit discrimination against individuals based on their membership in a protected class, such as sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, creed, color, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, military status, disability, or marital status,” James stated.

Do you believe that’s really the reason she’s doing it? Let’s be honest – she’s just obsessed with taking out Trump. And she keeps losing.

Hospitals Respond to Executive Order

The Executive Order has already had a significant impact on healthcare providers. Some hospitals have reduced or eliminated their transgender programs in response to the threat of losing federal funding. NYU Langone Health in New York City reportedly canceled appointments for minors seeking transgender procedures, leading to protests by hundreds of activists outside the hospital.

“It’s already having its intended effect — preventing children from being maimed and sterilized by adults perpetuating a radical, false claim that they can somehow change a child’s sex,” the White House said.

The Greater New York Hospital Association is currently consulting with hospitals to understand the legal and clinical implications of the Executive Order. Brian Conway, a Spokesperson for the association, stated, “We are collaboratively working through every aspect of the EO to determine its legal and clinical implications. That work is ongoing.”

Dr. Marc Siegel, a Fox News Medical Analyst, highlighted potential long-term side effects of puberty blockers and the irreversible nature of surgeries.

“Puberty blockers, the main one is Lupron, which we use for prostate cancer, enough said. I mean, it interferes with bone growth, it can potentially interfere with fertility if it’s combined with hormones and it can interfere with thinking and cognition. I don’t believe that we can say the puberty blockers with hormones don’t have long-term side effects, they do,” Dr. Siegel explained.

The debate over transgender healthcare for minors has become a contentious political issue. A recent study found that fewer than 1 in 1,000 U.S. adolescents with commercial insurance received puberty blockers or hormones over a recent five-year period, highlighting the rarity of these procedures.

Critics of AG James’ stance argue that her position neglects the potential harm of these interventions on children. They suggest that voters have rejected such procedures in recent elections, supporting Trump’s actions against them. On the other hand, supporters of James declare that Trump’s order limits medical independence and transgender rights.
