Ron DeSantis Says The Kavanaugh Protests Are A Criminal Form Of Sabotage

(RepublicanInformer.com)- On Monday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis weighed in on last week’s foiled assassination plot targeting Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and the ongoing threats and intimidation from pro-abortion activists against the conservative justices.

In an appearance on the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” Monday morning, DeSantis blasted the pro-abortion activists “protesting” outside of the justices’ homes, saying the intimidation attempt by these radical activists is “totally antithetical to a rule of law.”

DeSantis said mobs shouldn’t be permitted to “descend on a Supreme Court justice’s house” or “impede the operations of government” just because they might not like a decision. He said what the activists are doing “would be considered an insurrection” “if the shoe were on the other foot.”

He noted that leftwing activists can “get away with a lot more” and said their behavior has been “really problematic.”

DeSantis pointed out that the young man who came to kill Kavanaugh and then himself had traveled “halfway around the country” to do it.

Actually, he traveled the entire expanse of the country. But let’s not pick nits.

What also bothered DeSantis was how the American corporate news media has downplayed a planned assassination of a Supreme Court justice. He said last week’s incident isn’t just significant because the suspect wanted to kill someone. It was also significant because the suspect was “trying to change the outcome of decisions” he didn’t like “and that is just totally antithetical to a rule of law.”
