Supreme Court Justice Breyer Defends Vaccine Mandates

( During last Friday’s oral arguments on the challenges to President Biden’s vaccine mandates, the three liberal Justices engaged in a whole lot of COVID misinformation in their attempts to defend Biden’s unconstitutional orders.

Justice Elena Kagan claimed that the vaccines stop the spread of COVID. They don’t. Fully vaccinated people can both transmit and contract COVID-19.

Like Justice Kagan, Justice Stephen Breyer also claimed that vaccines prevent the spread of COVID. But he said some even crazier things as well.

Breyer laughably claimed there were “750 million new cases yesterday.” That’s quite an amazing feat considering there are only about 330 million people in the country. He falsely claimed that hospitals were full to capacity with all these sick COVID cases. That too is not the case. Hospitals are not overflowing with COVID cases.

But the queen of misinformation had to be that so-called “wise Latina,” Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

Every time she spoke, Sonia offered up lies.

She claimed that currently 100,000 children are in the hospital with severe cases of COVID and many of them are on ventilators. Currently, there are less than 3,400 children hospitalized for COVID, so Sonia was just a wee bit off.

The “wise Latina” also claimed that the Omicron variant is just as deadly as the Delta variant. This claim is flat-out incorrect. Omicron is a far milder variant. Unlike Delta or the initial strain of COVID, Omicron does not attack the lungs. It is an upper respiratory infection much like a cold.

Like Breyer, Sotomayor also claimed that US hospitals are “almost at full capacity with people severely ill on ventilators.” That might have been true in April of 2020, but it is not at all the case today.

The “wise Latina” also couldn’t wrap her mind around the fact that the federal government doesn’t have the same power as the states. She said she didn’t understand why states could implement mandates, but the federal government could not. Perhaps Sonia should crack open a copy of the Constitution.

She was also confused as to why OSHA can regulate machines that emit sparks but can’t regulate human beings who might emit a virus.

The upshot from the Liberal Justices is this: the COVID virus nullifies the US Constitution.

Attorney Harmeet Dhillon who represented conservative outlet The Daily Wire in the SCOTUS case spoke with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham Friday night to give a recap of the Court’s oral arguments:
