“The View” Host Gushes Over Ron DeSantis

(RepublicanInformer.com)- Sunny Hostin, co-host of “The View,” claimed on Thursday that she “admired” one part of the way Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, conducted himself during President Joe Biden’s visit to the state.

Hostin praised the governor of Florida for tackling climate change in the wake of Hurricane Ian, which hit his state in late September and left over 100 people dead.

Following the devastation, Biden and first lady Jill Biden met with DeSantis and his wife, Casey, to offer their support. Biden lauded DeSantis’ management of the hurricane and his efforts to rebuild the state while on the visit.

Hostin said that Joe Biden identified the issue. She particularly appreciated the mention of infrastructure and the electrical grid. Then she said she was glad that DeSantis finally started saying, “Wow, this is a climate change issue.”

The thing that had always disappointed her about DeSantis is that he is a very different political candidate than Trump.

She is adamant and doesn’t think President Trump is very smart. “I believe he is educated, but I don’t believe he is all that smart, and I believe he is a racist and a homophobe,” she said.

When she considers DeSantis, she is reminded that he holds a university degree, attended Harvard Law School, and was commissioned as a JAG officer in the U.S. Navy. He was a federal prosecutor who pursued child pedophiles. “Just like I did,” Hostin gushed.

She said that he is still a member of the United States Navy Reserve indicates that he is intelligent.

“What that tells me is he’s brilliant, and the cruelty is the point when he sent immigrants all over the place without taking care of them. And that kind of scares me,” Hostin lamented.

The panelists criticized DeSantis for sending undocumented immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard in September. Whoopi Goldberg termed DeSantis’ move “nasty.”

According to data, all migrants flying to Martha’s Vineyard knew their destination and boarded freely.

Alyssa Farah Griffin called DeSantis “extremely clever” for his hurricane response, notably establishing a temporary bridge to Pine Island and helping local businesses.

Ana Navarro urged DeSantis put Floridians before culture warfare.

Navarro said, “I hope he helps the people of Florida and leaves drag queens, Disney, Mickey Mouse, immigrants, etc., alone.”
