Tucker Carlson Replaced By Jesse Watters As New King Of Fox News Ratings

(RepublicanInformer.com)- Tucker Carlson has been the king of cable TV news for some time now, but ever since Jesse Watters got his own prime time slot on Fox News, his viewership has started reaching Tucker levels.

After becoming the permanent host of the 7pm show on Fox, Nielsen figures show that Watters attracted 3.8 million total viewers on his debut show. That’s the best rating for the network in that time slot for more than a year. Watters’ second show still pulled in 3.6 million viewers.

That’s a lot.

Watters was previously known for his “Watters’ World” show on Fox, and he currently still co-hosts the popular talk show “The Five” on the channel, which airs at 5pm and pulled in 3/9 million total viewers on the same day Watters launched his prime time show.

Tucker Carlson Tonight is still the top-ranked show on Fox News, drawing 3.8 million viewers on January 24 and seeing those numbers remain consistently high most nights.

It’s a sign that Fox has started to do things right, keeping its conservative audience while continuing some of its more traditional non-primetime programming.

Watters, a staunch conservative, joins Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham as the most-watched hosts on the network.
