Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Trump Jr., the oldest children of Donald Trump, took out huge mortgages totaling more than $22 million in 2021 to purchase extravagant Florida houses.
Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, borrowed $15 million to finance the renovations to their $24 million Miami estate, which they had just completed. The “Billionaire Bunker,” their house on Indian Creek Island, will cost them around $111,000 monthly for fifteen years.
There are six bedrooms and eight and a half baths spread throughout the 1.3-acre estate, which the couple has meticulously refurbished over the last few years.
Ivanka had a dinner party at the opulent residence to commemorate her 42nd birthday last month, just after the enormous restoration project was finished. Indian Creek Island is a private 300-acre property with 34 houses and 42 people living there. The island has a personal 13-person police team that watches the estate’s only bridge and conducts 24-hour sea patrols.
In March 2021, Ivanka Trump’s elder brother, Donald Trump Jr, purchased a $9.7 million mansion in Jupiter, Florida, with his fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle. Jupiter is the home of several famous athletes, including Serena Williams and Tiger Woods. Just twenty minutes from his father’s main house at Mar-a-Lago lies the luxury gated neighborhood of Admirals Cove, where the 11,000 square-foot mansion sits.
An earlier sibling named Eric, who is 39 years old, and his wife Lara, who is 41, acquired a Jupiter villa for $3.2 million in March 2021. The mortgage from Valley National Bank is $2.4 million. His mortgage, like Donald Jr.’s, is for 30 years and will be set at the Federal funds rate after 20 years at 3.15%. After taxes, this amounts to somewhat more than $10,000 monthly.
Tiffany Trump, who is 30 years old and the daughter of Trump’s second marriage to Marla Maples, is the only adult sibling who has not yet invested in Florida real estate. Rumor has it that she was house searching in Miami Beach a few years ago, but whether or not she bought a home is unclear.
