Police Searching For Man Who Attacked Walmart Shopper

In Florida, on October 11 at around 10:00 a.m., a coward in Broward assaulted an elderly man as he was exiting a Walmart in Lauderdale Lakes. Deputies are still looking for him.

He stepped out the front doors of the building without looking up and was attacked by an unknown man who drew his fist and struck him twice.

The footage also revealed that someone else in the background saw the attack and fled. After being struck, the victim returned inside, and the offender strolled out of the store and out of the parking lot without so much as a backward glance.

Based on information from the Sheriff’s Office, he traveled northbound on Oakland Park Boulevard.

The unprovoked attack on the Walmart customer was captured on a surveillance camera. The victim had finished shopping, minding his own business, and was walking past the first set of sliding doors with a shopping bag when he was attacked.

According to the victim, he did not know the perpetrator and did not exchange any words with him before the attack. According to authorities, the perpetrator did not steal anything from the victim.

Nothing was said. He just sucker-punched and left.

The incident occurred at the Walmart located at 3001 N. State Road 7.

Carey Codd, a spokeswoman for the Broward County Sheriff’s Office (BSO), described the incident as absolutely heartless, harsh, and uncalled for. She said it was a “total blatant and unjustified” assault on an older man going about his normal day.

The man was hit twice in the face. Luckily, the victim was only slightly hurt.

The BSO issued a news release on October 25 seeking the whereabouts of the deranged man captured on surveillance footage.

The assailant is described as a tall, thin black male dressed in a navy pullover with gray lettering on the front, black slacks, and flip-flops, according to the police.
